"I have a blood blister on my lip"
Do you have what looks like a blood spot on or around your lip or mouth area?
A blood blister or spot like this is known as a Venous Lake. What is a Venous Lake?
In rare cases, Venous Lake lesions can also occur on the face and body.
Lesions of this type are usually caused by aging, sun damage, injury, trauma and cardiovascular activities.
A Venous Lake can sometimes look nothing more than a freckle but, if left untreated and exposed to sunlight or heat, it can mature and become enlarged in a relatively short amount of time.
The NHS will not fund the removal of Venous Lakes.
Multiple sessions with Cryo technology provides little or no effect.

Venous Lake Lesions and Laser Therapy
Nd:YAG LASER therapy is a safe, effective, and permanent treatment for Venous Lake removal
A Venous Lake lesion can cause discomfort and be unsightly, leading to embarrassment for those affected by this blemish.
Private practitioners often use cryo technology with little or no effect. And, as the NHS does not treat these lesions, this leaves the client incurring multiple costly sessions, with the Venous Lake refilling or remaining unchanged.
Infinity Laser Therapy uses advanced LASER system Harmony XL ProTM
from Alma Lasers with Long Pulsed Nd:YAG: 1064nm technology. Its purpose is to immediately coagulate the blood supply to the Venous Lake.
Infinity Laser Therapy offers a first-class service to remove a Venous Lake from your lip, mouth area and skin.
We are members of the British Medical Laser Association.
The benefits of Nd:YAG Laser Therapy
Precision: Laser therapy is precise and can selectively target the blood vessels in the Venous Lake without affecting the surrounding skin.
Non-Invasive: The procedure uses Long Pulsed Nd:YAG 1064nm technology; no incision or stitches involved to remove the lesion.
One Single Treatment: 99.9% of clients only require one session.
Permanent Removal: The treated lesion will not come back.
Minimal Disruption: Recovery time is minimal and most people can resume their regular activities relatively quickly after the procedure.
